The DR ANNIE™ module is a real-time AI-based dental needs evaluation to help people seeking help identify their dental condition. Furthermore, it helps people build some foundation knowledge about their dental care. The Dental Evaluation module is powered by DigiBrain4™.

As a Patient, you can easily access DR ANNIE™ to know an insight for your dental condition on iSmartOffice™ Patient mobile.  Tap on the Meet DR. ANNIE™ icon on the home screen to open the DR ANNIE™ screen.

Create Dental Evaluation #

• Tap Meet DR. ANNIE™ on iSmartOffice™ Patient mobile home screen. The Dental Evaluation Page will look like this:

• Tap the camera icon on the top right corner to start submitting New Case

• There are several data that you need to input under Create Insight screen: Insight tittle and required your dental picture for Insight submission
• Fill the name or information on “Case Evaluation Tittle”
• There are 5 pictures that you need to provide for insight submission. Its represented by number in each images criteria.

• There are two methods to provide the picture on each of them
• First method is to tap the Camera button to provide pictures using your device’s camera. Your camera will automatically rotate (portrait or landscape) depends on what pictures needed
• Tap on the Camera icon to on the right to take a picture and it will be displayed on the New Case screen

• The Second method is to tap the Upload button to provide pictures from your existing picture on the device’s gallery. Please give permission to the App to browse your device’s photo gallery. It will be displayed on the New Case screen

• Provide all 5 required pictures to complete submitting New Case Evaluation

• Tap on the Submit Case button to submit the case. You will receive a Case Submission Confirmation email immediately.
• Our AI-engine powered by DigiBrain4™ will evaluating your case. Whenever it’s complete it will be available under the Dental Evaluation screen

How to Take Intra-Oral Photos #

Here is how to take intraoral photos for the Dental Evaluation process:

View Evaluation #

1. All case will be listed under the Dental Evaluation screen
2. New case will be marked as grey-scale DigiBrain4™  icon ( ) on the left
3. Case that has been evaluated by our AI-engine powered by DigiBrain4™ will be marked as green checked dark-blue DigiBrain4™ icon () on the left

4. Due to Health Information Privacy Act Agreement (HIPAA), all evaluations will on be displayed under Private Case tab means that nobody else can see the result except yourself.

5. Tap on the upload icon on the right to release the HIPAA agreement and OK to continue. The case will then be move to the Released Case tab.

6. If the case is already released, user can revoke it. Go to the Release Case tab, find the arrow down/download icon, then click it.

7. Tap on the magnifier icon on the right to view the evaluation result. There will be pop-up concerning a disclaimer that user have to discuss about the findings DR ANNIE™ made with your trusted Dental Provider.
User can click Close to see the Dental Evaluation Results.

7. Tap on View Image to view your dental images that used for the Dental Evaluation.

Create Appointment using Dental Evaluation Result #

There are two methods to create appointment based on user’s Dental Evaluation.
1. Tap on the calendar icon on the right to create an appointment on the Find Clinic screen module using the selected Dental Evaluation result

2. On Dental Evaluation Result screen, user will delivered a pop-up message about a disclaimer that the user needs to discuss about the result with Dental Provider. Click the Find Clinic button to directly go to Find Clinic section.

3. Whatever method used, user will be redirect to the Find Clinic page in the iSmartOffice™ Patient App.

Guidelines for Acceptable Dental Records #

1. For dental photos images must be taken following the template (example) provided. Photos should be as close as possible to the teeth while only showing minimal face. Usually within 2-3 inches from the mouth. Preferably ask someone else to take the dental image for you and not to use selfie mode.

2. Maintain focus and lighting for clarity of the image.

3. If you are uploading the image from an already available image please ensure that this image has good enough quality and is in JPG /PNG format (preferably). The file size is generally between 500kb to 1MB. For speed of processing please attempt to avoid uploading image files with sizes more than 2MB.

6. DR. ANNIE™  AI engine might reject images that don’t adhere to those recommendations mentioned previously.
